This past week, I had the awesome blessing of catching Jason Gray in concert with my children. The timing of seeing him was like a birthday gift right from God Himself. Yes, it’s my birthday week and it cannot go unsaid that when it arrives–it brings a mix of joy and pain for me. Memories have a funny way of doing that around celebrations each year, don’t they? Yea and I’m no exception. I’ll explain more of that story on tomorrow’s post. So, this week, it is my goal to post each day with bits of encouragement for your soul and in the process–I’m sure we will both be filled with great joy by the end of it!

I love this song. “Laugh Out Loud” really captures where I am right now in life. I find myself laughing more with my kids as I draw closer in my walk with the Lord. The funny thing is–He’s letting me. He stands with open arms–just waiting for me to run into them over and over again. His grace has been big for me, huge really. A lifetime of rebellion washed clean by His amazing grace. I cannot help but share this with you each week. I am compelled to say that free gift of grace is for you too!

I’ve been blogging since 2008 and the message of this grace has been the same. I’m a woman, a parent, a wife, and a human–that wants to see my Savior’s grace all around me. I want to be mindful of it and so grateful. I never want to see it end in my life. I want to keep sharing the stories and the places where I see God move so that you too will praise Him with me!
Let’s enjoy splashing in God’s grace together this week–all while we’re laughing out loud!

“Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy.
Then it was said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.”
Psalm 126:2 NIV
