If you’ve taken a few minutes to read my blog post this past week–”God Felt Silent–Part I” you would’ve picked up on the paralyzing feelings of fear that I faced as I made a trip to Eastern Europe a few weeks back. That situation pushed me into a place that I had never experienced before. I felt not only lonely for company but also for God’s closeness in a circumstance way beyond my control. Maybe you are feeling that way right now, have in the past, or will in the future. No matter what–we need to remember that we will never be left alone when we have accepted the free gift of Jesus Christ as our Savior.
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
