I sat in the back of the dark room, and my heart ignited as the music began. The words to the songs began to shift my attention to things that are eternal. The drums played in time and the sounds were amazing. My thoughts drifted back for a moment- realizing how far our sons have come in their abilities to run a sound board and play drums with the band. So many great mentors, teachers, and role models put into place. In awe, I witnessed our oldest sons’ gifts unfold before my eyes. At the age of 13 and 16, there is One who has orchestrated their lives and designed them to lead people to this indescribable place. This is a place where our thoughts turned upwards, shifting away from the things of this world that are so temporary.

“…we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.” 2 Corinthians 4:18b

They stepped out on faith, were teachable, and lead people closer to God last night.
I’m so proud of them, so grateful, and honored to be their mom…
I’m in awe as well of our Faithful Father who continues to be full of grace, ever faithful, who blesses His children beyond measure… and is so indescribable!
